Just in case you aren't familiar with Bob Malone, those who know him call him a keyboard wizard. Bob is an American keyboardist and singer. He describes his music style as a mix of rock and roll with deep overtones of blues and New Orleans R&B. He has had a remarkable performing and recording career that has taken him all over the musical map in places like Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe as well as in the United States. He headlines over 100 shows each year. He has just completed a world tour and has agreed to perform here in his hometown on the Wesley Stage in a homecoming concert. He supports his singing with pulsating, roaring keyboard work that grabs you and shakes you until you cry for mercy.
He attended Berklee College of Music and funded his education through performing solo or playing piano for bands. He moved to Los Angeles in 1990. He began touring in 2006.
In 2010, Bob was introduced to rock legend John Fogarty and has toured with him ever since. Bruce Springsteen joined the group during a set in Hyde Park, London in front of a crowd of 75,000 people.
On TV, Bob has been a featured performer on The Price Is Right and his music is heard on Dr. Phil, The Rachel Ray Show, Wheel of Fortune and All My Children and on over 300 NPR and A3 radio stations.
Bob has been heard to say "there are only two kinds of music, good and bad". Well, on April 19, 2015 at 4pm, you will hear not just good music, but great music. He is on the peak of a rather mountainous career and he plays each show as if it were his first and last – it's inspiring and unforgettable.
